Hello!
I'm Luke Maher, a game developer and writer from Limerick, Ireland, working across narrative design, production, and software development.
I've had the privilege of contributing to major AAA projects, including The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and Judas, most recently as an Associate Producer at Black Shamrock, a Virtuos studio. My path into games runs through both code and story: a BSc in Computer Game Development from the University of Limerick, then a Master's at Trinity College Dublin focused on narrative design for games.
What ties my work together is a fascination with the seam where gameplay and story meet — building experiences where each meaningfully shapes the other. That hybrid background lets me move comfortably between writing a scene, coordinating a team, and building the thing in code.
Outside of professional work, I'm a lifelong maker: software projects, fiction, video editorials, and music, mostly self-taught. You'll find a selection of all of it here. Have a look around.
